Yunus Tony

Yunus grew up in Kapodokya, Turkey where he worked for his father in the family restaurant. On arriving in the UK with his family in 1999 Yunus continued to work for his father in a number of successful restaurants increasing his experience within the catering trade.

Since moving to Liverpool Yunus' family had been close friends of Turgut and on opening Eton Place Turgut called upon Yunus to join his staff.

Abdulah Head Chef

Abdula was born in Aleppo, Syria where he grew up on an olive farm with his family. He learned many of his culenary skills from his mother who would often cook for large groups of his family and friends.

Abdula later went on to learn professional catering at college, finishing in 1985, before beninning his career as a chef in Syria working in a number of top restaurants and hotels.

On arriving in England in 2000 Abdula continued working, finally settling at Greenbank Spots Academy Restaurant. Here he worked as Head Chef and became good friends with Turgut who was Managing the Restaurant at the time.

Turgut Owner

Turgut trained at the Hilton Hotel, Istanbul and the Ramada Renaissance, Antalya, Turkey. He then went on to complete his degree in Hotel and Bar Management at Antalya University. In 1991 Turgut opened a highly successful restaurant and Cocktail Bar in the Turkish resort of Beldibi near Kemer which he had for several years.

In 1996 Turgut married a local Liverpool girl, sold his restaurant and moved to the UK where he had been living in Liverpool ever since with his wife and daughter. On arriving in Liverpool he began work as assistant manager at Blue Bar and Grill, and following that as Manager at Est Est Est resaurant in Formby.

For several years following this Turgut was manager of Greenbank Sports Academy in Sefton Park, which is where he met Abdula, head chef in Greenbank restaurant and his future business partner at Eton Place. The pair decided in late 2009 to start in up in business together and Eton Place was born.
